南仏ニースの明るい陽射しが降り注ぐベン・ヴォーチェ宅のバルコニーで、「ジャン・ヴィゴ（Jean Vigo, 1905-1934）に」とフルーツ・カクテルで乾杯するメカスとヴォーチェ。生涯４本の映画しか撮れなかったヴィゴの最初の作品が無声短編ドキュメンタリー『ニースについて 』（À propos de Nice, 25min., 1930）だった。
ニース「つながり」で、次はアポリネールに乾杯する二人。アポリネールが出てくるのは、彼が熱烈な手紙を送り、詩を捧げた貴族出身の女性ルー（Louise de Coligny-Châtillon）と出会ったのがニースだからである。ヴォーチェはアポリネールとルーの関係をひとしきり語ると、メカスが「ルーに」と乾杯の音頭をとる。
そして何と言ってもフルクサス（Fluxus）の唱道者マチューナス（George Maciunas, 1931-1978）に乾杯する。62年にフランクフルトのヴィスバーデンでの旗揚げに続いて、ヨーロッパ各地をまるでサーカス団のごとく巡業した際の一拠点がニースだった。以来、ニースではボーチェが主催するとびっきりひねくれた「国際フルクサス無祭り」（International Fluxus Nothing Festival of Nice）が少なくともウェブ上の記録では1996年までは「開催」されていたらしい。その公式の招待状が奮っている。
This Festival is organized to commemorate 30 years of Fluxus activitys in Nice (1963-1996). For this Festival you are asked to do nothing , you can stay at home and do nothing NO PERFORMING. NO CONFERENCE. NO EXPOSITION. NO WORK. , if such a program is too difficult for you to apply , and if you become concious of the weight of your "nothing", you can send us its description, for instance : " I have no more time to do "nothing " or " this festival is worth nothing ' , I refuse to do nothing ". etc
We are of course concious and happy concerning the participation to the festival of most art galleries in the world today , " since they are all say they are selling " nothing ". Of course a catalogue containing all your "nothings" will be printed.

これはレイ・ジョンソン（Ray Johnson）が始めたメール・アート（Mail-Art）の一環なのかもしれないが。
3月3日に登場したヴォーチェはまだかなり若かった。今日のフィルムでは熱弁は健在だが、随分老けて見えた。可笑しかったのは、彼が熱弁を奮うと家の中から奥さんがフランス語で「あなた、しゃべりすぎよ」と声を掛け、黙ると黙ったで「どうかした？」と声を掛ける度に、茶目っ気たっぷりに声を抑えてメカスに英語で通訳する彼の様子だった。
