いままで何度か日本一小さなワイナリー、ばんけい峠のワイナリーを紹介した。
最近、偶然もうひとつの魅力的なワイナリーの存在を知った。札幌から北へ車で一時間ほどの三笠市達布の丘陵地帯の一角にある。
「日本の農政と農協の方針に沿った画一的な農業」にがんじがらめにされていた状態からいかに脱却して「自立した農業」を実現したか。オーナーの山﨑和幸さんの話は含蓄に富む。そこには家族の生き生きとした姿も垣間見える。
こうした「自立した農業」を目指し実現する農家が増えて行けばいいなあと率直に思う。
山﨑ワイナリーは2001年創業で、まだ7年目であるが、「ヤマザキワイナリー ケルナー 2007」が、米国のワイン評論家ロバート・パーカーのウェブサイト「eRobertParker.com」にポイント付き（87点）で紹介されたという記事を読んだ。
パーカーのサイトを訪ねてみたら、たしかに、「Yamazaki Winery Kerner 2007/Hokkaido/87 points」とあった。
The very pale lemon color is a promising sign, alluding to this wine’s careful handling. Pretty floral and lime aromas on the nose with a distinct grapey, Muscat fruit character. The palate is crisp, clean and purely fruited, similar to a well made Riesling. Fully dry with a light body, this is a beautifully balanced drink. Long minerally finish. Drink now – 2011. Tasted August 2008.
